Solar Made Simple was founded by Neil Vorster, a qualified engineer with more than 30 years' experience in business.

An avid learner, Neil has made it his business to understand the needs of the solar sector and to design customised products for individual users, rather than one size fits all solutions.

He founded Solar Made Simple to meet the needs of South Africans plagued by poor electrical service delivery and skyrocketing electricity costs, and to provide homes and businesses with affordable and effective electrical independence.

We offer simplified and accessible solar solutions that are understandable by our clients, with solutions custom made according to your specified needs.

Our systems are all designed to meet your power requirements, not our product range.

Converting to solar power in your home, business or farm can seem a daunting task, especially when you have little electrical or engineering knowledge. Our name says it all. We make solar simple.

• We analyse your requirements. Your electricity account tells us what you use. For a small home on R3 000 per month, that is approximately 20 kWh (units) per day.
• We offer you 3 differently sized systems. Home Saver, Home Standard and Home Plus, at different price points, so you choose how far off grid you want to go.
• Every system is modular and upgradable. Start where your budget is, and add panels, inverters and batteries when you're ready.
